Chocolate, banana & tahini soft whip ice cream
Protein powders are easily stirred into smoothies, casseroles and soups, baked into brownies, or added to hot comforting drinks. The list is endless but here’s one fun and delicious way to use your protein powder:
Chocolate, banana & tahini soft whip ice cream
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of ripe pre-sliced and frozen bananas
- 2 tbsp tahini
- 3 tbsp cocoa powder (unsweetened)
- 1 -3 tbsp protein powder (we recommend Advanced Collagen)
- 2 tsp Stevia
- 2 pitted Medjool dates
- 1 pinch sea salt
Method:
Add the frozen banana slices to a food processor, blend until smooth and creamy (about 3-5 minutes)
Add the tahini, stevia, cocoa powder, protein powder and Medjool dates and blend to combine. Add a pinch of salt to enhance the flavour. More cocoa powder can be added for a more intense chocolatey flavour.
Serve immediately or transfer to dessert bowls and put into the freezer to thicken up.
